Visit Oregon Often
About 8 weeks before our Amtrak journey, a box of my new book, Sizzling Hot Pizza, arrived in the mail. I was excited to start marketing.
Curt's daughter Kerstie called wanting to move, so we rented a storage space and emptied a room for her in our tiny house. After about 2 weeks we re-arranged the house.
If we are traveling, we are adventuring. We decided to visit Karen and Tony in Paradise, California. From there we drove down California until we got the the I-40.
Crossing the Mojave Dessert is always long and visually interesting with its Joshua trees and odd cactus.
Whenever you drive the I-40 in Arizona, plan to spend part of your travel driving through this magic park. The road parallels the 40 so you will still make progress in the proper direction.
